Aaron Equipment Company, Inc. relocated its headquarters to its new location in Wood Dale, Illinois on July 19, 2019. The new office is still within the convenient proximity to O’Hare International Airport.

A new 48-foot long sign attached to the front of the building permanently proclaims the site of Aaron Equipment Company’s new facility which houses our repair and inspection operations. The 105,000 square foot crane building is located at 3575 Morriem Drive in Belvidere, Illinois.

Aaron Equipment Company Exhibited at Power Gen International 2018 in Orlando Florida on December 4 - 6, 2018. The show was a huge success for the company and featured a booth that highlighted Aaron’s inpact on the Power Industry as well as some historical nostalgia of the company itself.

Aaron Equipment Company will be installing new signage at its new warehouse and shop facility in Belvidere, Illinois today. This 105,000 square foot crane building houses our repair and inspection operations. Stay tuned for pictures of the final installation.

Aaron Equipment and Paul O. Abbe Equipment Company today announced the companies will move from their current property in Bensenville, Illinois, by Spring 2020. This announcement follows a final agreement between Aaron Equipment and the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority for the tollway to acquire the land as part of the Elgin O’Hare Western Access Expansion.

It’s an exciting time at packaging industry leader Aaron Kendell Packaging Equipment. After a banner year of growth in 2016, AEK is relocating from Bensenville, Illinois to a standalone, state-of-the-art facility in Belvidere, Illinois, just west of Chicago, by January 1, 2017. The reasoning is simple: In two years, our footprint has tripled, and the value of our inventory jumped 25 percent from 2015 to 2016.

Aaron Engineered Process Equipment LLC recently received word that the Board of Directors of PMMI (http://www.pmmi.org) have voted to approve the company’s membership application. The leading global resource for processing and packaging, PMMI is a non-profit trade association that was founded in 1993. Today, its 700+ member companies manufacture packaging, processing and packaging-related converting machinery, commercially-available packaging machinery components, containers and materials in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Jerry Cohen celebrated his 80th Birthday in Florida this past weekend with friends and family. Jerry is one of the owners of Aaron Equipment and celebrated with his brother Les Cohen.

On February 6, 2015, Karen Notbusch retired from Aaron Equipment Company after 34+ years of dedicated service. Karen worked in the Accounting Department on Accounts Payable and helped with many other Administrative duties.

On September 10, 2014, Larry Aschenbrenner retired after working for Aaron Equipment Company for more than 43 years. Larry started as a Rigger and wore many different hats in his career. His last position was that of Site Supervisor.

On August 22, 2014, Giuseppe Quaranta retired from Aaron Equipment Company after 20+ years of dedicated service. A luncheon was celebrated by the entire company and Giuseppe and his family were the guests of honor.

On January 16, 2014, Angie Perna was honored with a retirement party celebrating her 35 years of employment at Aaron Equipment Company. The entire company gathered for a luncheon in her honor. Even the company’s patriarchs, Les and Jerry Cohen along with their wives Sarell and Shirley, enjoyed the party via Skype projected onto a large screen. Angie was given accolades for her many years of service and friendship with the entire Cohen family. Alan, Michael, Bennett, Steven Cohen and Debbie Cohen Oberman all gave speeches congratulating Angie for her work ethics both in and out of the office.

Jeff Hoffmann of Paul O. Abbe was published in the July 2013 edition of Chemical Engineering authoring the Featured Report, Lifecycle Costs for Capital Equipment In the CPI. In this report, Jeff provides a detailed examination of the cost of process equipment and the implications that the initial equipment cost has for longterm costs over the life of the process. Jeff illustrates the factors of lifecycle costs with specific costs facts while explaining how the capital costs alone are too often the primary criteria for selecting process equipment.

July 16, 2013 - American Equipment Company celebrated the 25th Anniversaries of two of its entrusted employees. Bob Perna and Christine Daros both joined the company back in July of 1988. A luncheon was held in their honor and was enjoyed by the entire company.
Alan Cohen, President of Aaron Equipment, honored Bob and Chrissy and enlightened the audience with trivia facts of popular cultural events that were mainstream 25 years ago. It was interesting to see how much has taken place within that time spam.

After the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy on the East Coast of the United States, communities in the northern suburbs of Illinois joined forces to donate batteries, blankets, cleaning supplies, coats, clothes, diapers, and shoes to the victims of the disaster. All supplies were donated by the families of Temple Beth-El in Northbrook, IL and Temple Jeremiah in Northfield, IL. Both students and their parents boxed and labeled items which were loaded into the donated semi-truck.

Chicago, IL – October 31, 2012 – While Illinois may not have the best reputation in terms of overall health quality, several of the state’s employers are taking great strides to overcome this stigma. Among them is Aaron Equipment Company, a 75 year old company that provides new and used processing equipment in the global marketplace. Aaron was recently nominated for an Illinois’ Healthiest Employers Award on the basis of its employee wellness initiatives.

Chicago, IL – October 21, 2011 - Aaron Kendell Packaging Equipment is pleased to welcome Pat Quinn and his 22 years of experience to the sales team at AEK Packaging. After 12 successful years with the Aaron Equipment family, Pat took a short detour to help a start-up company get their packaging equipment sales off the ground. After three years, Pat decided to come back to where he once called home, bringing his expertise back to the Aaron Group of companies.

Aaron Equipment hosted one of three stops at the Weekend with the Pros event between Friday, October 14 and Sunday October 16. The event is orchestrated to help all MDNA members increase their knowledge, skills and sales power. Weekend with the Pros XX included Friday and Saturday night social events and dinner, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday, Warehouse Tours, Seminars, Chapter Meeting, and AMEA Educational Opportunities.

Aaron Equipment Company is now a sponsor of Ohio State University’s 2011 Student TTXGP Race Bike Project and operates out of the school’s Center for Automotive Research. Our staff will help the team by providing engineering know-how and equipment. By joining with this exceptional group of students and engineers, we are continuing our efforts to promote green technology which is the future for us and generations to come. In addition, the OSU project dovetails with our recent involvement with AEK Packaging Equipment and the build of the Lawless Drag Bike. The Center for Automotive Research is also the birthplace of the record breaking Buckeye Bullet.

Yesterday, Former NHL All-Star, Jeremy Roenick stopped into the Aaron Equipment headquarters for a tour of the facility and an opportunity to view the Aaron Bike, as built by Orange County Choppers. Jeremy Roenick was drafted and started his career with the Chicago Blackhawks and played for five additional NHL teams over the course of 18 seasons. He played for Team USA for several international tournaments which included the 1998 and 2002 Winter Olympics.

Chicago, IL – March 29, 2010 – When AEK Packaging opened a new 55,000 square foot climate-controlled warehouse in Bensenville, Ill. last year, its expansion effort went against the grain of most business trends. At that time, only 13 percent of manufacturers indicated to PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC that they had plans to expand their business geographically. What’s more, the dealer of used packaging equipment débuted the new storage facility in style, nearly doubling the size of its previous location in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. As it turns out, that leap of business faith couldn’t have been a timelier decision.

Some are capitalizing on the failure of their peers by tapping into a growing supply of used manufacturing equipment. Thanks to the recent turnover among fledgling biotechs some "previously owned" gear has become available at steep discounts. A Transfer switch is installed between a backup generator, incoming power and your business. A transfer switch continuously monitors utility power and when it senses an interruption it sends a signal to start the generator, when the generator is up to the proper speed, Hz and voltage the transfer switch transfers the load to the generator to provide emergency power.
